Eker Law Firm (the "Firm"), acting as data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), provides this notice to inform you about the processing of your personal data.
Data processed: Your first name, last name, phone number, email address and message content submitted through the website contact and appointment form, by phone, by email or via WhatsApp. Transaction information transmitted by the payment provider for Online Payment transactions. Technical records required for the website to function (IP address, browser information, access time).
Purposes of processing: Responding to your request, scheduling appointments, providing legal and mediation services, fulfilling legal obligations, recording payment transactions to the relevant file and operating the website securely.
Legal grounds: Your data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the grounds that processing is directly related to the formation or performance of a contract, is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and is necessary for our legitimate interests. Where none of these grounds applies, your explicit consent is obtained.
Transfers: Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where required by law. To the extent required by the services, it may be shared with judicial authorities, UYAP, enforcement offices, notaries public, payment institutions and the IT infrastructure providers our Firm uses. The duty of confidentiality under the Attorneys' Act is preserved in all cases.
Retention period: Your data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and for the retention periods set out in the Attorneys' Act and other applicable legislation. At the end of that period, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
Your rights: Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request its deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, to object to any adverse outcome resulting from analysis exclusively by automated systems, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
Applications: To exercise your rights, you may send your request in writing to our Firm's address or to our registered email address. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest.
